WARISHOUYU
(Lightened soy sauce with sake and water)
Perfect for boiled green vegetables, seasoning for simmering dishes, sauce for sesame tofu etc

[Makes 90ml]    14kcal per potion (15ml); 1.3% salt
 

2Tbsps soy sauce
2Tbsps sake
2Tbsps water
3cm square kombu (kelp)

1. Put all the ingredients in a preserving bottle, cover softly with plastic wrap. Microwave on 600W for 30seconds.

Photo of carrots made ready for microwave cooking 2. Remove the wrap, cool and screw top. Lasts for a month in refrigerator. Keep the konbu soaked in the liquid. You can also enjoy the pickled konbu after using the sauce.

* Heat by the microwave helps the sauce to taste mild.
* Without using microwave, put all the ingredients into a bottle and mix. Finish it within a week in this case.
